As a rule, stick with U.S. made rubber products such as Steele. You can buy
direct or the Filling Station is a dealer. It costs more than the import
stuff but it usually fits well and lasts longer.

That's my dos pesos (mex$.02)

We are preparing to finish off the trim details on an 54 Chevy AD and will
need window and door seals and rubber items. We are asking here who has had
successful fit and quality purchases on items like this. We are not asking
for the cheapest items but the best ones that actually work well.

I personally have had poor quality items before and would like to find the
best.

Thank you all for your continued fine assistance and advice.

We also need to find a source for all new valves for a GMC 228 head which we
are rebuilding.

Sincerely,
Dave Shier
