[oletrucks] rear end help

I could use some advice from some of you . I found a Chevy pu 12 bolt
rear today with 3.73 gears and was wondering how these do on the highway
behind a smallblock with 4 speed trans. I am currently using a 4.56 but
would like to leave town once in a while.Ha! Also saw a 66 Chevelle with
12 bolt but it may be higher gears.   Thanks for any help   Deacon
