Thanks everybody for the help in getting the carb set up in my '49 Chevy
3/4 wrecker today. Rick Wagner even drove his '53? Chevy truck out to
my place today (even though I had never met him in person) and brought a
workshop manual with him! It was nice seeing his truck so that I could
see how some of the things ought to be on mine. We got the truck
running, fuel isn't leaking anymore and it runs and idles great, it just
has trouble starting now. But at least I was able to hook the wrecker
up to the '51 1-ton GMC and move it out of the way behind the garage
(the wrecker hoisted it up fine, though it did settle down on the
springs a bit). Take care.
