So how about refreshing us on the '55 and telling us what you're looking to
get for it? Who knows, I might know someone who'd be interested...

So I've had my 55 for what....6 months now? And today, I
picked up another truck, this time a 58 Apache. I guess
all enthusiests are just automatically pack rats by nature,
which is annoying because I don't have much room
to pack this stuff....

The 58 is in way better shape, as far as the body goes.
Almost no cancer, and has all the chrome emblems and
bits. The bad thing is its been sitting for many many years,
has no running gear, and no brakes.... Not a problem
really, was planning on replacing most of that anyway,
but will make it a lot harder to park on my street ;) I found
someone to store it for me as I get together the running
gear and everything, but now I'm going to get rid of the
55....If I can get out of it what I have into it, I'll be happy.

I liked the 55's grill better, but I like the Apache's 4-eye'd
look better....I guess its all a toss up. Its nice having a
one piece grill too....I finally saved up enough to start working
on the drive train, I'm hoping to get it on the road in a couple
months or so (yah right, like that'll happen)....we'll see.

Can't argue the price though, the cost was the tow truck
bill.
