this may not fall into this discussion but my small block in my 57 chevy truck
has a newer altenator with the white clip with a red and white wire in it.
the red wire a have looped back to the hot terminal on the alternator and the
white i have ran to ammeter.
when i plug the alternator wire clip in it drags down the engine alot so im
thinking that the white wire is a trigger wire to turn on and off anyone know
the spot to make the connection for that one because i think its triggered on
all the time?
