Joe

Just viewed your web site, lot of good info on old trucks. I took special
interest in your vendor complaint page and the problems you encountered. I
had planned to purchase the cross member from a vendor and purchase the
components at the junkyard or the neighborhood NAPA. I assumed I would have
problems with the GM rotor conversion to the Must II hubs. Power rack width
conversion was a problem also. Does anyone have a parts list of purchased
parts to go with a Must II cross member into a 58 truck? It would help a
lot.

I noted on your dome light conversion page that you added a relay to turn
the lite on with door switches. All dome lites work with a switched ground
and a fused hot wire. This way the door switches act as the grounding
switch. The dome lite circuit in the headlite switch also goes to ground.
This way you can add as many grounding switches as you need. Even the on
switch located on the lite is a grounding switch. My 58 has the ground
switch dome lite, maybe the older vehicles had a positive switched lite.
