In a recent Chevy High Performance or Hot Rod magazine (Can' t remember
exactly which magazine I was reading) there was an article in which they
tried various performance enhancing additions one-at-a-time and measured the
results on a dynamometer. I recall that they tested performance ignition,
performance intake manifold etc.. One of the best increases was due to
replacing stock four blade fan with a fan clutch unit. I think it netted 10
horsepower or more!
