Subject: [oletrucks] AD rear bumper bracket question

My truck (55 1st, 3100 = ton) came without a rear bumper. I got a set
of used brackets from Jim Carter. My factory assembly guide shows that
they bolt to the outside of the frame channel. Looking from the side of
the bracket, there is about a one inch offset curve. This will raise or
lower the bumper height. My question: does this curve go up or down?
Im guessing down.
