When I did my 57 small window I used a piece of strap that was about 1.5" x 12" 
x 3/16".  I figured if the belt could pull that through the cab's sheet metal 
it would have already crushed my body big time.

But I'd have to wonder if the sheet medal would be strong enough? I'd think
you'd want a pretty hefty anchor plate to spread the stress if you were
actually in an accident. Even at 35-40 mph you would put a lot of stress on
the belt.  Just a thought. You want something STRONGER than you'll ever
