Just 'cause it's new, doesn't mean it's not broken. :)
I recently installed a brand-new, out-of-the-box water pump on my 82
300SD that weeped all over itself after it was installed and everything
was put back in its place (pump, fan, fan shroud, belts, belts
tightened). THAT was a pain.
