I've had the transmission out of my '50 3100, 235 and went to install it and
it would not seat all the way in. Discovered that the clutch plate had
slipped some and there is some misalignment between the splines on the clutch
disk
and the transmission gear shaft. Can the clutch disk be moved (realigned)
without completely disassembling from the flywheel? Clutch, pressure plate,
and
throwout bearing are in good shape and I don't want to have to remove unless
totally necessary.
