I picked up an '86 Trans Am (camaro) rear end for $200 that is under my 58.
it 62" wide, disk brakes and Posi-Trac. I had to cut all of the coil spring
stuff off and weld on spring pads. I flipped the axle to the top using new
u-bolts and a spring plate from a local spring shop, cost me $32 for the
parts. Don't buy the kits you see in the magazines for $79 and up.
