Thanks Scott, I know you can purchase some 4 series gears made to run
on a 3 series carrier utilizing a spacer. I think that it what the po
has done here. I want to insure I know what series carrier I have
before ordering a gearset to find it will not fit what I have. I wrote
the carrier number wrong earlier. The number on my carrier is
EDB30140. I found on a Nova websit the 3 series carrier for the 68-72
GM 12 bolt has a number 30140PMI. Those #'s are close enough to make
ya go Hmmm.
