If he has that much motor I'd suggest buying the 3 inch wider 'glass rear
fenders from BeBop's. He is going to need some serious rubber back there.

A friend of mine, a f##d fanatic, has apparently come to his senses and bought
a Chevy pickup. A '65 1/2 ton, shorty stepside. With a GMC blower on top of a
383 small block. Yep, he jumped into it with both feet. He is a good mechanic
and bodyman, runs his own shop, but not having had a Bowtie product, he is at
a loss for info. And no computer either. He needs a good source/price on rear
stepside fenders, glass or steel, r&l. Truck is now totally disassembled in
his shop.
Have looked thru my bookmarked vendors' sites, got prices ranging from 189
each in fiberglass to 419 each in steel. Might anyone have a real good, dang
near new pair laying around? Reasonable? I'm to let him know what I come up
with in a couple of days. Thanks for all assistance, hoping to convert this
guy...or at least get his blower!
