The correct weather-strip for your 53 is the one that you have Identified as
Type 1.
Get some 3M weather-strip contact adhesive as it glues on and ensure that the
retainer for the bottom of the door, it holds the weather-strip in place, is
in good shape. Replacement retainers are available from various suppliers.
You will also need, I think its 3, of the clips that hold the weather-strip in
place on the front edge of the door. These clips keep the weather strip from
being pulled out when the door is closed.
