I got my door rubber from Chevy Duty today and compared it to a sample 
I got of Steele Rubber Products door rubber.

Chevy Duty wins, hands down!  They are virtually the SAME ... except in 
price!  I got 2 lengths of door rubber from Chevy Duty, 16 feet each, 
for $15.  The same amount would cost $96 from Steele Rubber!  Hullo?

The density seems to be exactly the same ... the taller crown is a bit 
firmer on Steele Rubber's example, but not $96 worth.
