All you door rubber guys:

I'm in the process of fitting doors on my unpainted 55 first 1/2 T - would
like a better door outer face fit / opening edge margin than factory with
weld / grind if needed. Just by chance I had picked up the correct 1/2 X
11/16 Chevy Duty door rubber at a swap meet some months ago.

Of concern - when adjusting doors in / out - what would the most desired
back of door rubber step face / door jamb step face be. ( right side has
been hit with opening rework required for replacement door ) Looks like
rubber in the sealed position could be 5/8 ~ 1/4 ??

Thanks,

Jim
