Sounds like a 3800. 137 inch wheelbase? I'm surprised that plate that says
8800 pounds does not also have a serial number. That should make
identification easier.

I just purchased the 1951 AD pickup for which I can't find any identifying
badging or model # plates. The one plate I located says it has a gross
vehicle weight of 8800 pounds. It has a 9 foot long bed and 17" split rims.
