That could well be, since it's from a big truck that may have had a
bigger transmission, but how about a 235 bellhousing from a 1/2 ton
truck? All of those that I have laying around have the 4-5/8" hole, and
the 5-1/8" bearing retainer on the early 70s SM465 sitting in my
driveway will not fit them.
