In answer to Wayne's questions on wheel and tire sizing the following is 
right out of my service manual.

The wheel is 16" diameter and 6" wide with 6 bolt  attachment to the brake 
drum.

If the truck is rated at 4200 gvw the tires are to be 6:00 X 16 for all 
tires.  If the truck is rated at 4800, and this was optional, the tries are 
to be 6:00 X 16 on the front and 6:50 X 16 on the rear.

I also believe that you are right with the 6" diameter for the 6 wheel 
bolts.
