Anybody got a tutorial on rebuilding the front / rear springs for a 49 panel
/ or advice for that matter? I thought I'd just take em off and separate
them and clean them up and anti-squeak, etc.. Well I got em off and got the
pins/bolts out but the clips keep them from separating. Do I just bend them?
or is there some trick I can't figure out. They look like they are doweled
to the one spring and I don't see a way to remove them without cutting the
rivet/dowel heads off.
I knew I should have left well enough alone but I'm already in to it so
what should I do now?
