In 2002 I bought several boxes of parts from chevy duty and was
satisfied with their service. Some of the parts I was not/am not satisfied
with, but I dont really hold that against them.
My complaints when I first got all the stuff was that the headliner
didnt fit (it was about 1/2" too narrow) and just didnt look very good
anyway. I also wasnt impress that the optional switch I got for my electric
wipers did not fit without modification and couldnt be moved easily because
the wires were too short. Now my biggest complaints are the rubber floor
mat and the gas tank filler grommet, they look like hell after only 4 years!
The filler grommet looks worse than the original did when I pulled it out
(41 years vs 4) and the floormat didnt really look bad until after my dad
borrowed my battery for the winter and left a corner of the floormat flipped
over, when I put in a new battery this spring and flopped the mat back into
place it broke right at the fold!
So my vendor questions are:
Where do I get a good looking good fitting headliner?
Where do I get a good rubber floormat?
Where do I get a good rubber gas filler grommet?
