That's probably the best solution, though it will get grungy and torn
after a couple of years. I've tried rolling the tools in towels and the
like, and all it does it make them harder to get to.

Plug kit, fix-a-flat, hose splice, old fan belt, electrical and baling
wire, some flat boards to put the jack on. Cellphone, VISA card.
I've had people laugh too. On the other hand, they found nothing
whatever humorous at coughing up $100 for a wrecker when some tape and a
piece of wire would have let them limp to the next town...
