In one of the magazines I get, they say to mount the vice so you can use a
2X4 scrap on the inside jaw and have it even with the edge of the table.
That way, you can put a piece of wood that hangs below the top of the
workbench and just use a 2X4 to make it even with the edge.
Sorry, I'm bad at explaining things. If anyone needs any clarity on it, I
can try to find the article and post the pictures.
