I need a finish nailer, and I've never owned any nailer.
Two basic questions:
- How do I choose between angled and straight? Looks like the angled models
might get in more places, but then why do they sell straight models too?
- I have to put 3/4" oak trim onto rock lath and plaster walls that measure 1"
to 1-1/8" thick. The finish nailers I've seen seem to only go up to 2-1/2",
which gives me 1/2" of nail into the studs at most, quite a bit less than I'd
like. Can anyone recommend a larger finish nailer, at least 3"?
