Very Cool, Doug! Thanks for the status report.
I remember your post from last year. I didn't realize at the time that
PV systems had gotten efficient enough to be viable. I've been doing
some research on them since. A house with a PV system and geothermal
heat pump would be a really kick-ass setup.
I'm not a hard-core greenie, but as someone with an engineering
background I really appreciate efficiency.
