We often get (when it's been rainy outside a lot) what my wife calls
"piss ants" - the small little ones.
She mixes up a concoction of Boric Acid powder and sugar (dry - nothing
else) and pours it along their paths (on the splash shield between the
counter and the wall). They tend to disappear in a day or so...
