That's WAY too big, John.  Something is wrong, probably mis-made parts.  If
there is no expansion element (like a slit somewhere), then an interference
fit should be only a few .001" per inch of diameter.

One solution might be to mount the bushings up on a bolt or something that
you can spin in a drill motor or press; then use a file to work the outer
diameter down a bit.

A better solution would be to return them to the vendor (if that's an
option).
