Just a thought. Could the car have a Big Brake conversion.  The MGB calipers 
don't use the Banjo fitting. This would be assuming that you havn't had the 
car very long.  If you have ever put on new pads then you would know if they 
were not Spridget calipers.

My '78 has banjos.
Where did those bugeye discs come from anyhow?
