Well...

I can speak to the issue of SEMA's credibility.  Very well established
outfit, very vocal, very effective, very helpful.  I mean very, VERY.  They
handle a lot of the issues faced by kit car designers, builders, and
owners, but also a lot of the issues which face all of us LBC folks, like
smog laws (not trying at all to repeal them, but to make them more
realistic and rational) as well as others.
