Frank, as you are probably aware the wiring in a Spridget is marginal at best 
and if extra gismos are added the wires are just not big enough to handle the 
extra current. Glad you solved the problem.

Thanks for all the replys to my Lucas problem.
I simply replaced the fuse box with a 4 fuse unit and fed the tach separate 
from the brake lights. This did the trick. I can only guess that because the 
brake lights and ignition fed thru the same fuse (circuit) this was the problem.
Again only guessing. I  traced all juctions, switch, and lamps, no problems.

It must just be ghosts!
