The number listed for Summit Racing Equipment, 800 230 3030, is always
busy. Morning noon and night. Even in the wee hours of the morning. I
tried this morning at 1am. Busy.

Has anyone ever called this place and actually gotten through? They
boast that they're open 24 hours - "Call us anytime, we're always open!"
Right. Always have the phone off the hook to eat that quarter pounder
and watch the game.

I need some gauges and a -AN3 to pipe adapter, which I found that the
braided steel line kit, annoyingly enough, does not include. Also, to
my chagrin, NONE of the hardware stores around here recognized that the
fitting was an AN fitting! Ron Suave wrote me a while ago and told me
that's what it probably was - sure enough it matched the AN thread
picture in the Summit catalog. Good ol' Ron comes through again.

Is that right? Are AN fittings racing specific or something? Or are
the people in the Troy hardware and automotive shops just really dumb?

e :)
