This weekend I plan on changing the oil in the Sprite (a '60). It has the
Purolater canister system with felt filter. Any advice what with this
being my first time/attempt? Is there any diference between the paper
and felt filter? I've purchased all the necessary new stuff:
filter, seals, ... oh yeah, and oil. I know that properly fitting top and
bottom seals are critical. What should I clean the inside of the canister
with?
The real reason I'm doing this is that I'm tired of dirty old oil on my
garage floor. I'd much have nice clean new oil on my garage floor. :^)
