Suggestions please,
Just put my -72 1275 engine back in after doing a little
work on the gearbox. Ran fine before I popped the engine.
Now, seems to be running on just 2 cylinders (1 and 4).
1. Runs poorly, back fire thru carbs if I hit the gas.
2. Dies if I pull the wire to #1 or #4.
3. No change if I pull the wire to #2 or #3.
4. But, if I pull 2 or 3 and arc to block while running,
I get a blue spark.
I'm gonna do a complete tune up tonite, but I'd sure like
to know what to look for. Can wires or plugs just go belly up
over night?
