I run a DGV with a stock fuel pump.

People say you should use a pressure regulator with a mechanical pump
because it feeds the DGV too much. I havent put a regulator on mine and
Ihave some trouble flooding the engine on startup but itdoes work.
Theflooding on mine may also be caused byr unning toorich.

Since you have the electric already on there you might want to figure
out what kind of fuel pressure it supplies the DGV. I mean, if it
works, why change it? Unless you want to maximize performance I
wouldnt' sweat it. I don't think there's a lot of mechanical advantage
to switching toan electric pump - mechanical pumps aren't super
expensive (under $100 if I recall - $50ish??).

I drive my car primarily in the summer so Igot the biggest one. My
engine runs realhot under that hood andIhave no worries about the oil
not getting up to temperature. any oil cooler is better than none at
all, but you might as well get the big one.

I run a Mocal 16 row with the adapter hardware and hoses from Mini
Mania.

Just my opinion.
