Bought it at 51,500 mi. now has approx. 57,100
Original owner was female lawyer from society hill in Philly. Has been
garaged since new. She put new tires, electric fuel pump, dash overlay,
muffler, battery and spark plugs in before selling to me.
I've added new wiper motor, top boot, conv. top, tonneau, steering rack,
front rotors, 2 head rests, driver side seat cushion, center wiper arm,
repainted wheels, new lugs, detailed engine air cleaner, radiator shield
, valve cover, a.m., f.m. cassette radio., new head light and heater
switches, new door courtesy light and switches, new trunk switch for
courtesy light, Line fuse for electric fuel pump, Fan clutch, door
straps, rebound buffers for front end, door pulls, window winds,
numerous new stainless steel screws, bolts etc. New main bearings and
clutch rebilt, locks for doors, trunk, and glove box. New antenna,
interior light, tire jack, lug wrench, trunk matting, left side driver
visor, heater hose and numerous clamps, velcro for top, fuse box cover,
king pins both sides, hazard warning switch, radio blanking plate, plugs
for rocker panels, battery, and battery accessories, hub cap set, owners
manual, mirror mount, rear main seal, and head gasket.
Plugs, points, rotor and cap were just changed in feb. 98.
This car only needs paint, minor body work and rugs to be sound. It's a
great driver. I've put 6,000 miles on in 2.5 years and loved every
minute of it. Need money to buy late model MGB. More parts at home as
well. Car is detoxed but did pass last pollution test and have all
parts for retox. It just seems to run a little better without. Carb. is
original and is fine.
