  About this shift boot.
I know a 72 has the rubber boot with a metal band.
A 67 should have had the metal shift boot (like a bugeye) these were used untill
at least 1969.
72 and up used the "witches hat and rubber shift boot with a metal band to hold
it to the floor.

If all else fails, a universal rubber shift boot from any discount auto store
will work.
I used this with a Toyata 5 speed in the A40. (where a smooth case came out of)
It fits nice and has a chrome ring with rubber slanted shift gaiter. About $6 or
$7.
(JC Whitney has this for about $5.)

Hope this helps
Frank
