Hi all,
Following in the great tradition of Snowmass (1982), Breckenridge
(1992), and Park City (1997), the North American Healeys clubs can
anticipate another "Healey International" event, sponsored and supported
by all North American clubs, in the year 2002. This will be a
particularly special event since it will mark the 50th anniversary of
the birth of the marque.
Before the various clubs begin discussing details of such an event, I
thought it might be good to ask all of you for suggestions on where you
would like to see this special event take place. So far these
"International" multi-club events have been held in Colorado twice and
Utah once. (Wherever the next one is held, please bear in mind that it
will need to be reasonably conveniently located for those who will
actually form the committee that organizes it. No one has this
assignment yet, but this means that it will probably need to be near one
or more of the existing local/regional clubs.)
I know that it's way early, and there are lots of great Healey events
planned between now and then, but since this 2002 meet is to be a
multi-club event, I would just like to get a feel for what all of you
feel is an appropriate location before we begin discussing this at the
club-to-club level.
