There is no tension system on A series engines (there is on A+ engines
but they never came stock in any Spridget.
1500 Midgets do have a tension system.
If there is more then a very slight slack, replace the chain.
If you replace it, learn from my mistake! Buy UK because the $12 Taiwan
special lasts about 500 miles and looks like a limp noodle on the gears
when you finally figure out what the noise is.
