Upon inspection of the 1972 pedal box I have, it appears that the master
cylinders also sit *ON TOP OF* the bodywork, and not down in as I incorrectly
assumed. It may be that the later model and the 63-67 are indeed close to the
same.

It appears that if I cut a small amount of metal with these to allow the pedal
mount to be lowered into the footwell, that it would work equally well.

It may be a moot point, as I believe the SCCA Solo II rules do not allow any
*removal* of metal for update/backdate revisions - only bolt-in.   :-(
