My jets were much fancier - flexible copper tubing scrap in the garage
crimped and mangled then jammed in the tube til the puff stopped.  With
copper tubing, you get the added bonus of being able to cut your finger on
the sharp edge while pushing it into the tube after you crimp and mangle.
