Hi Toby, list

Midgets sold in the UK originally for more money than Sprites at the time they
were identical apart from minor trim and badging differences.

Only certain Midgets had round wheel arche fenders at the rear which is useful
if you want to fit wide wheels and tyres (but same fenders can go on Sprites).

There are less Sprites than Midgets (probably).

People always think a Sprite is a Midget but if you tell them you have a
Sprite they think it must be a Frogeye (this gets annoying after a few years)
- a good reason to buy a Midget?

There is a dedicated newsletter and meets for Sprites - a good reason on its
own for having a Sprite.

Later Midgets have the Triumph 1500 engine and lots of other differences.

In summary, to all intents and purposes there isn't much difference - just my
two pence worth or two penneth in the very old speak.
