the universe uses paper and I see no reason LBCs shouldn't. Many of my

And I, on ther other hand - stricly use felt and have never had any probs.
My BJ-7 had 48K on it when I got her; had 96K when I did a rebuild on
general principals. Insides where FINE. 'Course, I did (and do) lots of
oil & filter changes.
