The sole disadvantage of the A+ block is that it is a "thin flange"
block. On the other hand, it has external ribbing and more metal in
other places to make it stiffer than the standard sprite block. According
to Vizard, this is the block to use for big-bore motors. I can provide the
page numbers if you really like.

It uses the 12G940 head casting.
