I'm putting clear fluid in and getting beige (sedimenty) fluid out.

If you mean pumped up the system with the peddle, I've done that.

Robert,  Mine works, but if the system is old and full of crud sometimes it
won't pull the fluid.  Try it after somebody has stood on the peddle and see
if it works then.
