| Howcum -- every so often, maybe in 6 months or so, I'll check the battery fluid and it will be almost dry. I put in several cups of water across the 6 holes. What causes fluid loss? Overcharging? It's a 72 with an alternator with a built-in regulator. Not to old either - a replacement unit - rebuilt. And, I could almost swear, I check it every couple weeks and it held steady for several months at least, then today it's real low. Huh? chuck chuck |
