Hi Hal,
We were at Chico yesterday, and I remembered you posted a note about a
bug-i for sale in the area. There was one at the show for sale, but I
would keep looking. It was really beat almost unrestorable. The back
boot top was completely destroyed by Bondo/welding. The front was
rusty, several cancerous spots were revealed upon close inspection.
A-post shot, bonnet complete with holes. I afraid to ask him to start
her up, from the looks of the outside I would say the CA air board would
site me on the spot.
Asking price was $2000. Sorry I don't think it was worth $500. Keep
looking and don't give up the faith.
