Hmmmm--Dave--There must be three kinds of kits.  Mine, from Vicky Brit has 
BOTH the shims and the Nyloc nuts.  It seems, in test fitting everything 
together, that you would need the shims with either set up.  Maybe not, just 
seems that way to me.
