BTW.. It's in the Mid 70's, clear skies and a slight breeze at my house.
Gotta love the mountains.

Collective list wisdom

My daughter comes home and her 1275 sounds like it has an exhaust leak.
Quick check, no leak.
Turns out the exhaust is coming out of the Weber Carb.
OK, a compression check shows about 40 PSI on #2 and #3.
Am I safe to assume she blew a head gasket?

It's just too hot tonight to be pulling a head.
I hoping for suggestions like maybe 2 valves out of adjustment but I
know that's wishfull thinking.

Maybe after dinner I'll yank the head.
Why am I asking, I know what it is, and if it's anything worse, I still
have to yank the head. But why did it blow? That is the big question!
