I have received a few answers to my Thackery washer trivia question. (See
below.) But I haven't heard the one application that I need the thing for.
Let me clarify. Thackery washers may be used to mount Weber carbs, but Weber
carbs were not standard on 1977 Midgets. This is a factory part. I did get
one correct answer, but it was one I didn't know about.
Let's see if anybody can guess my application. Contest ends today!

I just received a pair of Thackery washers for my 1977 Midget. The first one
who can tell me where they go, and who sends me their snail mail address,
will receive a Spridgets list logo iron-on transfer, suitable
